The special burrito is huge. The prices are good. They have all kinds of hot sauce options. Coffee is pretty good. Service is always polite. You'll always take food home. They also have a $20.00 burger that's the size of a plate. "Thatz a huuugge bitch".

It started out with ripping a fingernail to the quick while sitting down on a torn up and taped over booth whose springs were shot. Ow! Without getting into a long story, my French Dip was enjoyable with real roast beef. The clam chowder would have been great if it weren't over peppered. Hubby's order was messed up by the cook, twice. He thought the taco meat tasted as though it had gone bad. The waitresses were very kind, giving 50% off on Hubby's meal. They went out of their way to do all they could. We will come back, but maybe a different location where the furniture is kept up?

I wouldn't say typical diner food because some of it actually taste better than what you would find at a Denny's or IHOP. The menu pretty much as everything from Mexican food to burgers to fish and chips . The one thing here that's positive is that you get mass quantities of food for a very inexpensive price. The burgers here are considered " normal size " but it's as big as two burgers! If you order a basket of fries or onion rings they definitely for skimp out on you and always give you a big shareable order. I would come here with friends if you're looking for some inexpensive food and more of a variety. Lastly, order the scones! They are as big as the plates and come with delicious honey butter.

Probably the biggest burger I've ever had. A lot of food for your money. The kids meals are what an adult should have as a serving... I can't wait to go back and have their Halibut .

The food was ok but my stomach was upset afterwards. My chicken sandwich was big, very good bread. But the place was very, very dirty inside. We won't come back.

The Pork Chimichanga was flavorful and came with ample Chile Verde, rice and beans. It was served piping hot, promptly and the service was quite good. I also tried the Ceviche Tostada. Very tasty! Very good Horchata too. Great experience! I'll be back on my next trip to SLC!

After being ignored at the Taylorsville Virg's we went to the Virg's near our place. We went there when it opened and then kind of forgot about it until this week. The service was terrific and everyone is friendly. They greet regulars as if they're old friends. It's a great atmosphere. Overall the servings are pretty massive. On Sunday I had fish and onion rings. I thought the fish were on the small side and a bit dry, but the batter was delicious. The onion rings were awesome...so awesome I had them the next day. I had to go back the next day because I spotted a bleu explosion burger on the menu. As some people might know, I'm obsessed with blue cheese burgers and I'm always on the lookout for the next great blue cheese burger. This burger was definitely explosive, but not in a blue cheese way. It was a very, very good burger and absolutely massive; it could easily feed 2-4 people. The bun was fantastic and held up to the meaty goodness easily. Between the bread were the nicely sized beef patty, thick slices of great bacon, at least an inch of thinly sliced ham, and possibly two cheeses. I suspect the first cheese was a white cheddar. The other might have been a blue cheese thinned into a sauce, but it wasn't quite as blue cheese-like as I'd prefer. Tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and red onion slices were on the side. The onion rings were the perfect accompaniment to that gargantuan burger...and as an FYI Virg's also offers a ten inch family size burger. Good luck eating that beast. I'm sure it's also fantastic.

We love Virgs and have for many years but we usually go to the location off 5600 S Redwood Road. After our second try at this Virgs location we'll stick with the other location from now on. While I realize that things happen when restaurants get busy they will still bring the food for the whole table at one time. Half of our food was delivered and then 10 minutes later our server brought the rest of the food, although after 4 requests our scone still never make it before we were finished so we asked them to take that off our bill. Our server seemed put out that we didn't want the scone at the end of our meal when we were ready to leave In addition to the service and scone issue we asked for very crispy bacon and it was almost raw. The same thing happened the one other time we ate at this location a few weeks ago. We'll keep eating at Virgs, but never again at this location. It's disappointing how much different one location can be from another.

Good food, great prices. Don't expect great service. Were ignored by servers, and not treated as a priority. I come here a few times annually to get a huge plate of breakfast foods for around 6$ Update, the staff and cleanliness is much better at the location in draper. I will be going there from now on.

Had my favorite, halibut fish and chips today. The fries could have been hotter, but the rest was fabulous. I also really like the cole slaw, not too sweet. Service is always friendly, but not overbearing. Virg's is also a favorite weekend breakfast spot for my family.

This is one of my favorite places to have breakfast in all of the Salt Lake City metro! You can order your breakfast omelette, scramble, roll-up (burrito) with whatever YOU want on it! It's not just a menu with everything already planned for you, there is a list of their add-in options, you tell the waitress what you want and that's what you get. The pancakes are MASSIVE! :D They also have flavored coffee creamers! How cool is that?! Super cool.

The food here is literally inedible. I choked down a few bites then gave up and just drank my coffee. The menus and condiments on the table were all sticky. I don't think they ever clean. Disgusting. They were busy (can't imagine why) and the waitress seemed completely out of her mind. Our food was sitting on the table for a long time before she brought us any utensils to eat with. She only brought out half of the cups of coffee we ordered. We had to ask several times for the other two cups to be brought. Terrible service, even worse food.
